Robin
Gratz is Director of the Library at Manchester College and
a member of the Plowshares library committee charged with
enlarging the peace holdings of the three college libraries.
Rob has a bachelor’s degree in history from Manchester
College and earned a master’s in European history
from Duke University. His library credentials, an MA and
doctoral studies, are from the University of Chicago.
When he's not in the library, Rob serves Manchester College
as organist for convocations, commencement and other functions.
Under his administration, the Manchester College library
already has developed a strong peace collection, which is
housed in its own section of Funderburg Library.
Plowshares plans to combine these resources with the holdings
of the other Plowshares colleges to create a "virtual"
peace library, with most of its resources available to all
academic libraries through interlibrary loan. |
